On July 27, 2022, HUD released a Request for Information (RFI) through its SAM.gov portal. This RFI included a draft proposal for procuring contractors to replace current PBCAs with Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) Contract Support Services, who would serve an almost identical function to current PBCAs. The draft is intended as a means of soliciting feedback from the public from now until August 29th, not as a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) that would trigger any industry changes.

CMS and Bremerton Housing Authority will be compiling a detailed response in order to ensure that all of our partners’ needs are taken into consideration by HUD as they continue to draft an official RFP.
