On January 9, 2023, HUD released a notice soliciting public comment regarding HUD Form-9834 through the Federal Register. This notice invites members of the public and affected parties to provide comments on the form detailing Management and Occupancy Reviews for Multifamily Housing Projects from now until February 8, 2023.

HUD Form-9834 is the form Performance Based Contract Administrators (PBCA), traditional Contract Administrators (CA), and Mortgagees of Coinsured Projects (Mortgagees) fill out when conducting Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs). If you would like to share your input on how MORs are performed, here is an opportunity to have your voice heard by HUD.

Our response

CMS and Bremerton Housing Authority will be compiling a detailed response in order to ensure that all of our partners’ needs are taken into consideration by HUD as they continue to draft any official changes to the form.
