This week, HUD published updated versions of many important tenant eligibility and rent certifications documents, such as the HUD-50059 and HUD-9887/9887-A, to their HOTMA Related Forms Drafting Table.

Does this feel like deja-vu? HUD originally published these documents for public comment via the Federal Register a year ago, in July 2024. The documents posted on the drafting table this week reflect revisions made after the documents were originally shared by HUD in 2024. It’s important to note that HUD has not yet opened the 30-Day Notice that will provide a deadline for submitting comments.

Be sure to check the HOTMA Related Forms Drafting Table to review the latest version of the documents and prepare any comments that you may want to submit when the 30-Day Comment Period begins
