We want to reassure you that Contract Management Services (CMS) remains fully operational and continues to provide all PBCA services during the current government shutdown.

A government shutdown occurs when federal agencies experience a lapse in appropriations. This means certain government functions may be reduced or paused until funding is restored. In this case, The Federal Government’s spending authority expired at 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 30, temporarily shutting down non-essential government services, including most HUD operations, until a congressional budget or continuing resolution is passed.

You can expect to work with our team as normal. While these circumstances may bring a level of uncertainty, please know that you can continue to count on us. CMS has always been committed to attentive, high-quality service — and during a shutdown, we make it a point to be even more front and center, so you have added confidence that your needs and your residents’ needs are being supported.
