HUD issued HUD Notice H-2026-07 on November 2, 2026, revising the compliance date for implementing Sections 102 and 104 of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA) to January 1, 2028. Although the compliance deadline has been extended, Owners/Agents should continue reviewing HOTMA requirements, preparing staff, and planning for implementation to ensure a smooth transition.
