Operating Cost Adjustment Factors (OCAF) Have Been Released For 2023!
On November 15, 2022, the FY2023 OCAF rates were published in the Federal Register. The new rates are effective February 11, 2023. Operating Cost Adjustment Factors are used for adjusting or establishing Section 8 rents for projects assisted with Section 8 Housing Assistance Payments under the Multifamily Assisted Housing Reform and Affordability Act of 1997 (MAHRA).
The FY2023 Utility Allowance Factor (UAF) rates were also published. These rates are also effective February 11, 2023 and may be used to adjust baseline utility allowances that were processed according to Housing Notice 2015-04.
